Does NativeFunds handle the money?
No. NativeFunds is a discovery and networking platform. Backers and fundraisers connect here, then complete any arrangement directly between themselves, off-platform, with their own paperwork. We never touch, hold or guarantee funds.
What does "verified" mean?
Fundraisers submit their details — GST, address, photos, a short video and identity — and our admin team checks each one by hand. When every detail is approved, they earn the verified shield. It is not a guarantee; always do your own due diligence.
What can farmers raise for?
Anything that grows the farm: drip irrigation, equipment, polyhouses, storage, imports, or new techniques. You show your land size, crop, and current vs. target yield so backers understand the plan.
What offer types exist?
Arrangements are Equity or Profit-Share — never debt or loans. Everything is negotiated and executed directly between the two parties, off-platform.
Who controls what's visible?
The person raising. You choose what to publish on your profile and raise. Your private details — contact info, verification documents and messages — are never shown publicly.
What does it cost?
Connecting is free. There are no fees to join, raise, or back anyone on NativeFunds.
