Welcome to NativeFunds. By creating an account or using our platform, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use NativeFunds.
NativeFunds connects people in India who are raising capital — farmers, founders and local businesses — with people who wish to back them, and provides curated news. We provide the space to discover, connect and communicate. That is all.
We are not a bank, broker, dealer, investment adviser, payment processor, escrow service, crowdfunding portal, or financial institution. We do not offer securities, solicit investments, guarantee returns, or give financial, investment, legal or tax advice.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. You agree to give accurate information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your login secure.
There are two account types: general users, and fundraisers. Any user may browse, follow, like, comment, message and choose to back a fundraiser. To raise funds, you must register as a fundraiser and submit details for verification.
The verified shield means our admin team has reviewed the documents a fundraiser submitted (GST, address, photos, video, identity) and found them consistent. The shield is not a guarantee, endorsement, or recommendation. It does not mean we vouch for the person, their business, their raise, or that any arrangement with them is safe or wise. Verification can be removed at any time if we receive credible reports or evidence of wrongdoing.
If you raise funds, you are responsible for being truthful about your business, your plans and your use of funds, and for complying with all laws that apply to you, including any securities, company, tax and GST law.
If you back someone, you do so at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your own due diligence. Verify the person independently, understand what you are agreeing to, and never send money you cannot afford to lose. NativeFunds is not a party to your arrangement and has no liability for it.
All money, equity and profit-share arrangements happen off the platform, directly between the parties. We never touch, hold, transmit or guarantee funds.
You agree not to:
We may remove content, suspend or delete accounts, and remove verification, at our discretion, if we believe these Terms have been broken — especially where a user may be a scam or a risk to others.
You can report any user you believe is a scam, is impersonating someone, is posting fake documents, or is behaving abusively. We review reports and may act on them, including removing verification, taking raises offline, or deleting accounts. We are not obliged to act on every report, and moderation decisions are made at our discretion.
You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant NativeFunds a licence to display and distribute that content within the platform so it functions (for example, showing your posts in feeds and on your profile). You are responsible for having the rights to everything you post.
News headlines and summaries come from third-party publishers via their public feeds, with links to the original articles. That content belongs to those publishers. We are not responsible for its accuracy and do not endorse it.
NativeFunds is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that any user is who they claim to be, or that any raise or arrangement is legitimate or successful.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NativeFunds and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of money, profits, data or opportunity, arising from your use of the platform or from any dealing between users — including any loss from a scam, fraud, misrepresentation or failed arrangement. Your dealings with other users are solely between you and them.
You agree to indemnify and hold NativeFunds harmless from any claim, loss or expense arising out of your use of the platform, your content, your dealings with other users, or your breach of these Terms.
You may stop using NativeFunds and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or create risk for other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 9, 10 and 11) will survive.
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use NativeFunds after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
